Sometimes I forget my sunglasses on my head, and then I’m like: where are they, where did they go?
Oh.
I have them.
This is a new look for my leather skirt. I was trying to come up with new ways to wear it and eventually just decided on leaving my cardigan thing open over it. Has kind of a layered look. Also thought the belt was a good idea, but over the leather skirt it ended up being too much bulk and I lost it at the first opportunity. Maybe a skinny belt or sash would have been better? I like the way it looks in photos but it was just too uncomfortable.
Happy fall, everyone! Hope you’re having an awesome weekend. So far I’ve been having an awesomely lazy weekend…
Francesca’s Collections open cardigan, ZARA shirt, Gap skirt (possibly vintage), Forever 21 belt, Legale fleece-lined over-the-knees, Cole Haan ballets.

I use my sunglasses as a headband on purpose. HAHAHA I love your belt, but if it’s uncomfortable go with a skinnier one. Great look. :D

Your photography has been gorgeous lately, as have your outfits. You have quite the eye for coming up with chic all-black outfits.

I loooove this belt so much it makes me wish I had bought two! Forever 21 isn’t the best quality and this one is starting to unravel a little… boo :(

I am sorry but you found a belt better than mine from Forever 21? Holy cow, I love the designs! And I always put my sunglasses back into the case, if I lost mine…I’d probably cry for days!

I know, Forever 21 has awesome belts, right? At least when you can find them… I always see better ones online than in stores!

use my sunnies as a headband all the time lol
like the cardi over the dress, very flowy
maybe just belt the dress and keep the cardi flowy

Yes! Next time I’ll try something like that.

I like the belt but I know what you mean. I attempted to belt a poncho today. Made it through lunch and then totally ditched the belt;) Great looking and in theory, but in practice, meh.

I do that with my sunglasses too, and my hair elastics on my wrist.
The skirt and the top actually blend together so well (at least in the photos) it could practically pass as a dress.
I love your leather skirt, and now I’m questing to find one as well. I actually found a perfect one the other day, only $24, but it was two sizes too big. And then I found one that fit perfectly for $20, but it was suede.
ps. Sometimes when I’m on my computer, I’ll click ‘leave a comment’ and it will load the mobile version of the site. isn’t that funny?

Leather skirts are so hard to find because they are so unforgiving. They can’t be too small or you’ll need a corset, but they can’t be too big either because alterations are so difficult. This skirt was an amazingly good find. I’d been searching on and off for years for one before I found this one.
Weird things have been happening with my theme lately, including wonky fonts. I’ll look into the mobile thing, that’s happened to me too. I keep trying to refine my mobile theme settings but it doesn’t seem to me working :P
