For Fall/Winter 2013, Catherine Malandrino was inspired by the work of Art Deco era interior designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann. The dark color story of black, oxblood, olive and blue looked surprisingly soft– the geometric patterns were sweetened by the contrast of loose lines and an unexpectedly relaxed fit. Favorites include the leather and velvet pieces as well as the black and nude patterned dresses.
Beautiful photos. Glad to see leather coming back. Remember how u hated the leather tie I bought at the prison for fove bucks?
I am really digging all the outerwear in this collection! The jackets in photos 1 &4 especially are super duper gorge.
Excellent take on the jumpsuit! It’s amazing to look at, but wouldn’t be so amazing on me. Ha!
Oh my gorgeous, now I wish I hadn’t cancelled! I

I haven’t even looked at my Venexiana photos yet.
77 looks. I don’t even… I just don’t know.
I feel bad that I have a press preview next week and I haven’t even finished February yet.
Oh. This is a stunning line, and so wearable. I would wear every piece in a heartbeat. Well, every piece except that lace possible jumpsuit.
I did really like this collection. Even the jumpsuit. Err… it’s a very strong look and I can appreciate it, but I wouldn’t be caught dead in it? I think that’s what I meant to say.
