Dear Nnenna,
You’re welcome.
But seriously though, my future imaginary gigantic apartment needs a library. With a spiral staircase. Obviously.
Even if I do read exclusively on the Kindle Fire HD and Kindle apps.

Welcome to Letters from the City, a lifestyle photoblog.
My name is Alex and I have been blogging in some form or another since 1998. I’m a former Manhattanite now living the quieter life in Brooklyn. I like outerwear and red lipstick.
When I was younger, I was let loose in a GAP Kids one too many times, resulting in many of the fashion choices you see here in my photos. I also read, traveled, and took cooking and art classes. Art eventually led me around to photography, and to this day I do enjoy a good brunch.
Thank you for visiting! I hope you'll stay a while and get to know me. Learn More →

If only I had the space in my apartment for this kind of library. One day!

Seriously, this is one of the reasons I refused to get rid of my books. I have almost an entire wall of books and my room is teeny tiny as it is. I know i’d save so much room but I can’t part with them! haha. I do have a number of books on my nexus 7 though. Many of my blogging and design books.
I would die for a whole wall of gorgeous books.

I love that site! And I also spend a fair amount of time daydreaming about my future home library. *Sigh*
