The only photo I took of myself was of my feet at the beach. If you’re ever in Long Island, Montauk Beverage Works is amazing. Good flavors and not loaded with sugar like other brands of iced tea.

My name is Alex and I have been blogging in some form or another since 1998. I’m a former Manhattanite now living the quieter life in Brooklyn. I like outerwear and red lipstick.
When I was younger, I was let loose in a GAP Kids one too many times, resulting in many of the fashion choices you see here in my photos. I also read, traveled, and took cooking and art classes. Art eventually led me around to photography, and to this day I do enjoy a good brunch.

Looks like it was fun trip. and i love that photo of the beach hut with the seagull. i’m sure i’ve already faved/hearted/whatevered it elsewhere, but i’ll tell you i like it again just the same.
Yeah haha I feel like I definitely spammed everyone on instagram for like a week straight. I wanted to try other filters and there’s no way to not put them in the feed, right?
No, there totally is a way to not post — when you get to the naming
post, let the little “pinwheel status symbol” twirl around and once
it’s done, the photo will be saved in your library. then you can go
back, do a diff filter and let it save again. you never have to post it.
For serious? Ugh hahaha.
