Snow Moccasins

Pictures… at night… in the snow…  I don’t think they came out too well.  Maybe I need to Google online photography classes?  Does that even exist?

I’m wearing my Minnetonka slippers from Zappos.  I have VIP, get it if it’s still available!  I’m not wearing anything too good today.  That’s my sort of new winter coat.  It’s sold out now but there’s a new trench version for spring.  Very dangerous, because I do like the ice grey color.  I wasn’t snowed in, my car will go through snow without problems, but I had nowhere to go today.  And nothing to do.  And, well, I probably didn’t need to be sitting around in my Sue Wong or something :)

I got the scarf in Ireland, probably one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.  It’s a very soft wool.  I normally like cashmere or cotton (or pashmina, whatever that’s made of) because wool tends to itch me, but this wool comes from some nice Irish sheep.  It’s by Avoca, a weaving company started sometime in the 1700s.  I believe it’s handwoven and there are these lovely button details on it that I’ll have to take a closer photo of later.  Avoca Café in Dublin is very good as well.  I actually went the the day before I left Ireland and brought back something like three scones, two shortbreads, and four other kinds of cookies.  I have a serious, serious cookie problem.

Tahari asymmetrical wool coat, Avoca scarf look available here!, Forever21 leggings, Minnetonka moccasins.  H&M dress and Target belt are not really visible under all the wrappings.
