Dear Christi,
You may have noticed the wrap in my latest set of photos– yes, I’ve been tending to a sprain. I’ve been hiding it under maxis and midis for a few weeks, but… well, I ran out of them eventually. It’s actually the ankle that’s the problem. However, I’ve been compensating too much so now the knee is actually bothering me a lot worse. Figures.
No heels on doctor’s orders and I’ve been trying to stick to my comfort brands only. I have an especially timely giveaway for you from Sole Provisions, a comfort shoe retailer that offers both free shipping and free returns so you can be sure to get exactly the right shoe. One lucky winner will receive his or her choice of a pair of FitFlop or Orthaheel shoes.
Save your knees! Comfortable shoes are a must for navigating New York. With fall approaching, some mukluks or Monaco blue ballets wouldn’t be amiss.
Good luck! Enter below.

girl, i know how you feel. i sprained my left ankle a few months ago and have been in flip-flops, flats, and low wedges ever since. do you ice it?! that helps alot.
good luck to all the giveaway participants!

I do ice it, but wrapping at night seems to work best for controlling the swelling. I ice the knee, too, and the other knee… I’ve got ice and bandages all over the place!

I could definitely use a pair of closed toe comfort shoes. of course you know about my unfortunate toe incident when i visited you, and now I’m already panicked about what i will wear to lucky fabb if i go this year since it’s so late in october and sandals wont be an option.
Alexandra Shook says
Ohh definitely let me know if you are coming to Lucky FABB! I don’t know if I’ll be able to go this year, but I talked to Eva Chen about it and it sounds like it’ll be a little bit different this year.
