Union Square Park Before Dark

Dear Kelsey,

I finally, finally remembered to do an EBEW. Well, what really happened is that Nnenna and I had a photo session and I happened to be wearing neon pink. Oh well. I’ll take it.

After smiling for a little bit, I promptly turned around and ignored the camera. Nnenna smiles, I don’t. Clearly we were meant to take photos together to balance each other out, haha.

Aren’t the flowers nice? Wait, there’s something in there…

Squirrel! It ran away.

Alex

Hahaha, that’s typically how I end up participating in EBEW — somehow it’s happened twice that my outfit post matches up with the trend of the month.

    Love the skirt!

Hey, that squirrel’s not wearing neon! Get out of here, squirrel!

Anyway, I really like the way you styled the skirt–how it’s peeking out under the long shirt. It’s a neat shape that I haven’t really explored!

Whether or not you smile, I like seeing your face, Alex. (Well, and the back of your head. I like them both!)

I like long-shirt-short-skirt. It’s an uncommon style now, but I just cannot do those crop tops everyone is wearing. Reminds me of 1995, and those sartorial days are better left behind, at least for me.

How cute are you two?! I love that skirt, Alex. I keep trying to find a neon colored item that I like, but I’m increasingly starting to think that it’s just not a trend I can rock. I always feel like I’ve just stepped out of an old episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. You’ve made it look totally contemporary, though, so now I just don’t know…

On a completely unrelated note, I’m wishing I were at FFF right now, in part so we could meet up for a glass of Scotch, and laughs. Maybe next year!
