Toto, We’re not in New York Anymore

So friends, I’m out of New York for a while. The old house finally sold and my family’s doing quite a bit of moving, so I’m making sure nothing good gets thrown out helping pack things up. I’m now doing strange things like “driving”, “going to Target”, and “cooking”.

It’s quiet here, which I don’t find comforting. And dark. Give me back my city.

Xhilaration/Target dress, Anthropologie belt, MIA boots, Coach bag, vintage ring and necklace.

One last thing– I was cleaning out the closet and decided to do a giveaway. Would you rather have a chance at the plaid bag or wristlet and card case?

Good luck with all the transitory stuff! Moving can be a pain, but it can also unearth some stuff one forgot that one had. I’m fond of the plaid bag myself, but then, I’m just fond of plaid in general.

Oooo the wristlet for sure!  OK so you sound like me, I’ve not driven in 7 years and going to target is a big…excursion.  Whatever I buy I have to be able to lug it home on public transport.  That said, I love that dress the print and the style looks beautiful on you!

It must be nice to at least have the rest of your closet back, I’m sure this dress is pretty happy it got to come out this fall. And i love the little tree necklace.

    I think maybe the wristlet.

It’s freeing to have the whole wardrobe, yet almost daunting at the same time. A little bit weird. I’ve been packing a lot and I’ve noticed that yoga/tennis/etc. clothing outnumbers my day and evening wear by at least 3 to 1. Should have been a yoga instructor I guess.

The tree necklace was my grandmother’s and she wore it every day. I’ve only recently started wearing it.
