I am known to wear some skinny jeans now and then, although generally I don’t wear pants often. They never seem to fit right. These Pilcro jeans from Anthropologie come close, but they’re definitely too small in some places and too loose in others. If only eShakti made pants, right?

Think it’s almost time to retire the trench coat for the season. After this week it’s supposed to hit the 30s… not sure if I’m ready for snow yet! Wasn’t it just September?

It’s not QUITE cold enough here yet for me to swap my car coat out for my heavier-duty wool one, but I don’t think it’ll be too long…I should hie me to the dry-cleaner and get it prepped posthaste.
I think my favorite part of this outfit is the scarf–I’m making grabby hands even as we speak.
This scarf is one of my favorites, although I do forget who made it (it was a gift). It’s hand-painted, totally artisan. And very soft :)

I hate wearing pants/jeans as well. Believe it or not, I have found luck at the Rainbow store on 5th and 36th. If you’re in the mood to splurge, Joe’s Jeans are awesome!
P.S. So not ready for snow yet either!
Hmm next time I’m in Herald Square I’ll have to pop by the Rainbow store. I’ve always liked Joe’s but I don’t think they’re the best fit for me. I usually have trouble with too much fabric through the hip. Sometimes I think the perfect pair of jeans is an urban legend!
If eshakti made pants we’d all be in heaven i think haha. Are you able to take your jeans to get tailored?
Generally they need to be taken in through the hip and thigh, which no tailor I know will do. Might have to beg my friends to bring some back from Asia if they can find any over size 4 over there…
pants are just hard for everyone. the more stretch the better, I always say.
