I wanted to take photos in front of this cool building that’s off to my right, but every day there’s a garbage truck and some other kind of industrial size truck parked in front of it. Garbage truck = not pretty, so I moved over closer to the street. People seem to be so curious about big cameras. A lot of people asked me about camera specs and photo quality, and to make sure they weren’t ruining the shot.
This is the dress I picked from the ModSwap. It’s a little early for velvet, but if you hadn’t noticed I’m dealing with a bit of a capsule wardrobe right now. I’m currently switching out summer and winter clothes. After fashion week I expected to leave for my parents’ in the country to switch more, however my schedule got unexpectedly full (birth in the family, etc.) so I never ended up doing that. I’ve been doing a lot of laundry lately.
I’m wearing an American Apparel shirt over a dress c/o ModCloth from the ModSwap, carrying my Foley + Corinna bag, and wearing the Cole Haan shoes again.

I have texture issues with some fabrics and as such am not a fan of wearing velvet, but it looks gorgeous on you! Also, your hair looks really pretty.

It’s lovely…Kinda jealous that you can wear jealous right now without passing out!

It’s going down to the 50s this weekend and I don’t know if that’s terrible or awesome!

Girl, you love you some black! I do too! :D I love the way you’ve styled your item from the swap- I still have yet to wear my swap clothes!

Everything I have with me right now is black, except for the leopard blouse and skirt.
Wear that dress soon!!

If there is one thing i’ve learned from blogging, it’s that you can do a lot with a capsule wardrobe.
The embroidered flowers on the skirt are pretty cool.

I’ve been doing more than I thought I could… but I want some other shoes!

Your bag is so chic! And I love the fact that you’re wearing velvet, despite it still being September.
Alex Elizabeth says
Hahahah yeah it was definitely cold enough for velvet that day. Unexpectedly freezing!
