The Spring 2015 collections were great (plum lips! creative braids!) but fall is in the air here, so I’m sharing one of my favorite Fall 2014 beauty trends. Metallic shadow with emphasis on the lower lash line was popular on the runway, although I would definitely want some Skyn Iceland Eye Gels on hand. I got a few samples at a party earlier this year and absolutely love them. They can be worn even if you’re wearing foundation.

I also like Fall 2014’s clean, no makeup look. Keeping the skin simple always looks great. I’m not planning on giving up my red lipstick, but I’d like to incorporate a neutral lipstick, too. Just need to find the right one for my skin tone!

Selfie! What are your favorite fall beauty trends? I’m also a fan of the 60s-inspired cat eye and sleek, volumized hair this fall.

    Alex, I do like this eye trend too, and I love the cats eye too, but for someone else. I love the trendlessness that I am witnessing,..I walk on 57th and check out the diversity of looks in the flagships’ stores, and it makes me smile.
    Round toe, pointy shoes, stilettoheels, block heels—hurrah!
    Skirt length are every where too, but over all a bit longer than last year, and lots of cutaways, with the back longer, which is nice.
    My my favorite trend is the distinct lack of dominant trends,- that is nice a lovely buffet of style.
    I love your red lip, it is classic and you.
    I do love all of the texture that i see!
