Something you don’t see on this blog often– a pencil skirt! I was spending a long (and particularly gloomy) weekend in the country and my stepmother gave me a ton of clothing. Free clothes! Exciting! So I decided I had to wear this suit right away. It’s Doncaster, which I’ve never heard of, but the fabric’s very nice. Wool/wool blend.
Wearing: J.Crew shirt, Doncaster suit, Banana Republic shoes, ken + dana necklace (sample), leopard scarf (gift a friend brought back from Paris!), Louis Vuitton bag.

definitely a divergence from your norm, but I like it! and with bright pink no less… have not seen you in brights in ages. Super classy/professional.
I know, it’s been mostly neutrals for me lately. I have an orange shirt up next! Just have to figure out what to wear with it.

I am still looking for the perfect pencil skirt. I have tried on so many of them, and none fit me as well as this one fits you! I love it.

You might have to bite the bullet and take a pencil skirt to a tailor. It can make a huge difference and would probably only cost about $20 or so? Most of my suits have been tailored, this is a rare one that isn’t.
