Apparently I was really into jewel tones and a bohemian vibe. Interesting. In some ways I’ve changed quite a bit, in others… not so much at all.

My name is Alex and I have been blogging in some form or another since 1998. I’m a former Manhattanite now living the quieter life in Brooklyn. I like outerwear and red lipstick.
When I was younger, I was let loose in a GAP Kids one too many times, resulting in many of the fashion choices you see here in my photos. I also read, traveled, and took cooking and art classes. Art eventually led me around to photography, and to this day I do enjoy a good brunch.

Haha thanks, I try my best! I adore jewel tones. Lately I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of pants in a jewel tone.
I think my favorite look is the purple and yellow skirt and you are holding a leaf :) Still loving that H&M python dress and I do hope you find the colour blocked skirt at H&M too. I saw a few left at my store they moved pretty slowly….

I had this soft pink thing going on, didn’t I? After today I feel like it’s already too cold for those tights! And I have to wear that purple lace shirt more, but it’s something I have difficulty styling.
I love this idea! Maybe in a year I’ll have something interesting to post as a retrospective. :3

Last time I did this it was favorite outfits over a six month period. I always find it interesting to see what I was wearing… you should do one of these once you come up on a milestone!
