Dear Kelsey,
If you’ve been following my Instagram feed then you know that Nnenna and I stopped in at Coach, where they were serving up champagne, sparkling water, and tiny desserts. The Man Repeller arrived just after I did, although I have to say I didn’t think her outfit was really man repelling.
I did some wandering and found stacks of pretty bangles. I also loved this leather puffer but didn’t even check the price. I’m probably happier not knowing.
Nnenna and I filled out cards for our customized Coach tags…
…and ate some good things. I did my usual forgot to eat thing, so I was hunting for another of these smores all night but had to settle for a banana peanut butter thing, which was almost as good.
Yay! We both got navy with silver lettering. I almost went with pink, wished they had black, and then chose navy.
Have you been to any fun holiday events yet?

You two go to the most AWESOME events! I am loving the accessories. And how fab was it to see the Man Repeller. HAHAHA I love viewing your photos on Twitter. I think my iPhone is about to die. A good reason to get the 4GS. Do you have the 16, 32, ?

Go for it! I have the 16, I never needed more than that on my 3GS and I don’t put all my music on it… would never fit! This was a cool event. The selection of bags available in the store was incredible. So many Coach stores are teeny tiny with hardly any bags, but this one even had a sizable men’s collection (which I think I like better than women’s).

Aww, how fun! Seriously, I’m always so jealous of all the events happening in NYC. I just need to move there after graduation in May. Then we could hang out all the time and attend events together! So fun.
I love the navy and silver tag. And that leather puffer jacket? To die for! Genius mix of leather and mid-winter style.
Alex Elizabeth says
There are definitely more opportunities for these kinds of events in New York… sometimes so many you have to miss out on some! New York is a fun city, but also a very hard city… have you ever been?
Caitlin says
No, I’ve never been. Maybe this spring, though!
Lyddiegal says
aww, how cute! I might need a new little taggy for my coach soon because I have a bad habit of fiddling with it whenever my hand is idle and I’m sort of pulling it in two…
Oh, my Sister in law just got a new coach bag and she LOVES coach so maybe that would be a nice little gift for her…
I do wonder though, is the man repeller single? or is she content to man repel all she wants becuase there is already a beau tucked away at home?
Caitlin says
Haha, I think the Man Repeller is engaged! A little ironic, right?
Alex Elizabeth says
Yeah, so apparently not single, hahaha. I think you can get new tags from Coach. I never have, but I feel like they would have plenty of them!
Lyddiegal says
Well, I must say that takes a bit away for me.
What’s the point of man repelling when you’ve got a man. What happened to the plight of the single girl who just wants to dress like a high fashion runway model and can’t figure out why she never gets a date?
Alex Elizabeth says
There are five million of those in New York? And I don’t think her outfits have been very man-repelling lately either. I liked the posts she used to do all the time starting with one piece and then adding in all the others.
Nnenna says
Haha, didn’t even know you took that picture of me when I was filling out the card for the tag- so sneaky! Not as fun as the Steve Madden party, but still glad we went and got those monogrammed tags :)
Alex Elizabeth says
I’m the paparazzi, for serious. Sneaky sneaky :)
Kelsey says
Sounds like a wonderful event! =D LOVE all the bangles.
