This outfit is a combination of pieces I’ve collected over about the past fifteen years, the oldest being the vintage bracelets. I really like having pieces with history and things that have been around for a while. Sometimes I think it makes them seem more mine.
Sugarlips dress (old) | LOFT belt (older) | Club Monaco Harper Trench (newish) | Frye boots (going on seven years old) | Coach Legacy Leather Molly Satchel in Black Cherry (new) | vintage bracelets (really old)
Rather unseasonably warm here lately, similar to last December.
Shake Shack is going to be packed.
this is love at first sight! you nailed every aspect of this outfit…i’ve not seen a mix of old and new quite like it. seriously.
Still so in love with that bag. And I love this mix of new and old; just goes to show that not everything has to be new to look amazing!
Oohh I love that bag and the color!
haha love how everything is described as (old, older, new, newish) :p
The weather has really been throwing me off lately! It was really nice earlier this week, but sadly I was stuck inside and couldn’t enjoy it!
I love that python printed dress and that bag is amazing. I saw it at coach recently
i really am loving those boots with this dress!!!

I’ll take the odd warm december day when ever I can – and I think is great when you’ve had something for the better part of a decade and still love to wear it.
your new bag is gorgeous. total swoon.
LOVE that dress (even though it’s not black)!
Sometimes (occasionally, I swear) I wear things that are not black. Sometimes I even wear brown– gasp! But I always return to black :)
Love this color palette together! And those Fryes. Sigh. Some day I will have some campus boots!
Pairing older pieces with newer pieces makes a whole look much more interesting and unique! Love it! I have some clothes that go way back too and I can’t seem to get rid of it…why? Cause I don’t want to! lol Plus, if it’s still wearable why not.
Definitely! I often think of things in terms of five, ten, and thirty year pieces… and one to three years as well.
