The Building Without a Roof

Dear Christine,

I’m not sure what this building is called, but it’s empty and parts of it are usually blocked off. A lot of photoshoots happen inside anyway. I’d love to stand in one of those windows and get a photo, or at least center myself under one of the arches (which I completely failed to do in any of my photos). I kept losing track of where I was standing. The area around here is actually very busy, people walking or biking back and forth constantly. I’m sure all of them were wondering what the freak in the leopard dress was doing.

Love 21/Forever 21 dress | vintage belt | Seychelles Aquamarine sandals | B Makowsky Tess bag | Ippolita Wicked ring

This is my vintage zoo belt (tigers and lions run across it). I think I prefer a more substantial belt with this dress: it looked good with the pink belt, but not great with belt it came with. The wider belts help control the pleats, which are crazy. One day I’ll wear the dress trapeze silhouette — or at least photograph it that way for a second — so you can see just how big and swingy it is.

You look great in this leopard dress. I love the gray handbag with it. This week I’ve seen 2 great leopard combos, gray and yellow. Def will try it for fall.

the gorgeous “freak” in the gorgeous leopard dress was showcasing her amazing style, of course! You are so purdy, Alex! And I love the belting here. I can imagine the dress looks totally different without it!

That dress looks like it can be very twirly!! What a great belt – that is really rare and unique which I love! The backdrop is wonderful – so open and spacious. great place for a photo shoot.
