Two weeks ago I attended a crazy first birthday party. Most people wore Lilly Pulitzer, but I didn’t have any so I wore my ridiculous new Charlotte Russe dress. It’s one of two maxi dresses I purchased from Charlotte Russe this spring. I did have a bright bangle though. I’d love to wear this dress with a bold black belt and black shoes. I didn’t have any with me though. I think bold, brightly colored shoes would go really well too, like hot pink.
As part of my present to the birthday girl and her parents, I photographed the party and got some really excellent portraits although I do prefer candids. I got some of those as well.
The cake was from the bakery on Cake Boss and only one lonely cupcake from Crumbs was left.

I didn’t even notice about all the layers I had on hahaha. Wish it had been intentional? This dress was an amazing deal, Charlotte Russe was running a $20 dress promotion when I was in there!
