The wind has been blowing here in New York this summer… and unfortunately it’s mostly been a hot wind! My hair is absolutely crazy. I’ve even taken to pinning it up on hot days, which you know almost never happens. I never used to go out with my hair up.

Night in Times Square


Dear Caitlin,

On Friday after the kensie jewelry preview, Nicole, Nnenna and I decided it would be a good idea to take some photos in Times Square. Or rather I decided Times Square was a totally perfect location and dragged them along with me. It was a little windy, but surprisingly uncrowded. It still weirds me out that there’s no traffic there any more. No more iconic photos of taxis stuck in traffic on Broadway.

Casual Holiday Dressing with AMY O.


It’s a commonly held myth that I never wear pants. I do. I swear. Let it be documented that I do wear pants (even if they’re always skinny jeans).

I tend to dress for dinner during the holidays, though no one else in my family does. However, there usually is an occasional very casual dinner or post-dinner drinks with good friends and neighbors, and I’d be more likely to dress up some denim for that.
