Guest Post: Shen Dove Style

Hi all! This is Shen from Shen Dove Style.  I hope Alex is having an awesome vacation and am happy to fill in for her while she’s away.  I know for those of us that love summer, that it’s hard to think about fall which will be here sooner than you think.   But I get comfort in knowing that I can wear some of my favorite summer items when the weather cools off with a few more layers. Here are a few examples of items that I can wear now and later.

Fuschia Skirt - Now and Later

Fuschia Skirt – My fuschia skirt can be worn now with a shirt and heels and later with tights, a long sleeve skirt and cardigan.

Gray Dress Now and Later

Now Outfit: Dress: UO; Shoes: Nine West
Later Outfit: Dress: UO; Tank: Gap; Cardi: H&M; Shoes: Go Jane; Jewelry: gifted
Gray Dress – My gray dress can be worn with a pair of color heels now and later with a tank, cardigan and tights.

Winter Shorts - Now and Later

Now Outfit: Blazer: Delia’s; Tank: Charlotte Russe; Shorts: UO; Wedges: Jessica Simpson; Jewelry: H&M/Jess LC; Clutch: purchased in Bahamas
Later Outfit: Blazer: Gap: Shirt: Target; Scarf: Modcloth; Boots: F21; Earrings: H&M
Black Shorts – My black shorts can be worn now with a tank, blazer and wedges and later with tights, blazer, scarf and ankle boots.

    I love this idea, Shen! Maybe I’ll have to “borrow” your idea for my blog once it gets a little closer to fall. You have so many great key pieces that work for both seasons.

    I love your outfits Shen- you’ve got some great ideas here!  I just posted about wearing my leather shorts in the summer, which I had previously only worn in the winter! :)
