It’s been so incredibly windy here. How about near you? I didn’t realize it at the time, but I have my eyes closed in every photo I took. I really need to see about getting some non-prescription glasses to keep things from getting in my eyes. If I don’t you’re going to think I’m asleep in every photo.
Everything I’m wearing is monochrome except for this shirt, a really brilliant blue that I love. I told you I was working on color in my wardrobe :) I got this jacket a few weeks ago and decided it would be a perfect outerwear piece for spring. It cost $26 during one of Ann Taylor’s clearances (down from $248) so there was no way I was leaving without it. I don’t love the snaps though, so I might remove them and have someone create a button where the third one is. No way I could do a sewing project that complicated.
I’m wearing my new Ann Taylor jacket, Vince shirt (lighter color), Gap leather skirt, HUE tights (I think), and Stuart Weitzman Forsure pumps.

Yes they definitely do! You may hve to wait a while though. I passed up this jacket twice on the sale rack because I thought it was still too much.

I actually thought this outfit was sort of boring and almost didn’t post it. I purposefully decided against jewelry or accessories but was kind of like ehhh when I saw the photos on computer. I did like it a lot though, so expect to see a bit of an evolution sometime in the future. This polish is a Zoya color from the mirrors collection, although I can’t remember the name. It’s a plummy purple.

Yeah it’s totally weird what bothers us sometimes is completely unnoticeable to other people, isn’t it? I can’t believe I got such a good price on this jacket either… waiting really paid off in this case!
the snaps are odd, but i do love the cut and the zipper pockets.
If you have a sewing machine, button holes are actually absurdly simple.
I have a handheld sewing machine….
I’m thinking that doesn’t actually count.
Not unless it has a setting for button holes.
And does that really work? I always laugh when I see the tv infomercial with the woman sewing curtains while they are on the windows…
My father wants me to go get fabric and make him something. I don’t know what he plans on using the sewing machine for, but he wants to know if it works. I’m inclined to say it’s for straight seams only.
