Sorry I’m so boring. All I have for you today is another black Alexander Wang dress. Sometimes I think you’ll get tired of me wearing the same things all the time and then you won’t come and visit any more. I can’t help it though, I don’t think I’d mind at all if my entire wardrobe consisted of black draped jersey dresses. They certainly are becoming a staple– I’m up to three now.
I’ll try and hold your interest with photos of some details, like the chain of this vintage necklace down my back and the draping on my dress. I pulled my hair back a little, too.
Also, apparently I only wear one belt now. What is wrong with me. Ugh, tomorrow I’m going to wear pink tights, I swear.

Black is your thing! It’s definitely not boring at all – plus, having three AW dresses doesn’t hurt, either. I’m so jealous of all three!
I love my dresses :) Two are sample sale and one end of season clearance. Only way to get them, retail is astronomical.
The black and white photos are so effective, maybe I should try it sometime.

I love black and white photos! A long time ago when I was first thinking of starting blogging I considered making this an entirely black and white photo blog.
Black and white pictures look fabulous! I must try this sometime! Love all the draping going on here!
Ohh yeah I forgot to tell you, if you black and white photos taken in low light it often improves them. I do it all the time with indoor shots. A light low-contrast sepia works well, too.

I love this dress Alex :) And black is chic and I really like the draping on this outfit! We have a tendency to reach for our favorite pieces :)
I’m pretty sure the annoyance we feel at always wearing the same thing is more of an issue for ourselves than anyone else. I wouldn’t have pointed out that you’ve worn this dress or belt a million times, because these photos are new and different and you still look fab.
Also, you will have two new skirts in your possession very soon.
Yayyyyy skirts! I’m in such desperate need of separates. I feel like I do wear things more often than the average style blogger, though. Oh well.
You can keep wearing black draped jersey dresses as long as you still look great in them. :)
If they ever start looking terrible you’ll tell me, right? I try to change them up a little bit every time I wear them, although I think I’m running out of new ways.
