One Dress Two Ways

Dear Caitlin,

When I bought this dress on a whim from Target I had no idea I’d wear it so much. In fact, I was definitely hesitant about it, but at $12 and change I thought I’d be able to get my money’s worth (even if it does sort of remind me of a tablecloth). Well, it’s held up beautifully through many washes and though not often seen on the blog, it gets a lot of wear.

I really like it with my black blazer, but it’s too warm for velvet now.

Gap blazer, xhilaration/Target dress, MIA boots, Joe Fresh tights, Coach Station bag, Forever21 belt, vintage necklace.

xhilaration/Target dress, Anthropologie belt, Frye boots.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Alex

Hey, I have the paisley version of that dress! I gotta say, I like your floral one better. It’s so pretty. And that velvet blazer of yours! Holy crap, it’s beautiful. I really love it. The bow is the perfect touch. And both pairs of shoes are amazing, but those brown ones especially caught my eye.

My husband thinks that anything with floral print is destined to be tablecloth material. I disagree. And I totes love this dress, Alex. It’s gorgeous with tights and sans!

This dress is great! I don’t think it looks like a tablecloth at all. I must say, I love it with colored tights best. Btw, is that a new Coach bag, or is that your vintage one?

Next week, actually! I have a couple posts lined up. The grey weather has been leaving me a bit droopy, so I’ve been lounging in my PJs or living in yoga pants. The sun is starting to peek out every once in a while, though, so my laziness is starting to fade. =)
