Are you guys tired of seeing my face? Sometimes I get tired of seeing my face… I have way too many photos, most of them of myself.
My father found this old Polaroid and now it keeps some of my jewelry company. It apparently takes a three volt battery. I don’t even know what that looks like. One day I’m going to dust it off, put it together, and see if I can get this thing to work.

I know what you mean! When I look through all the photos I’ve taken since Tia and I started our blog, I start going…that’s a lot of Mia, do I really need to include six to twelve pictures each post? But inevitably when I take pictures I just HAVE to do more than one, and we’re back to where we were. For what it’s worth, I really like all your pictures and don’t think it’s too much Alex for one person to handle! I love seeing the places you go to take pics, especially with the changing seasons now. I get to fantasize about the East Coast. :)

Ooooh, I love this! Also, I’m loving the new font you’re using for your titles and extras.

I think this old camera is so cool, but I’m going to ask for an Instax for Christmas. Much more portable.
Did the font used to be a plain serif font for you? My old cursive got really wonky with different browsers/computers. Really weird. So I changed it to this.
Caitlin says
Yeah, I think it just used to be a plain serif font. I really like the new one!

I can’t wait to see the photos that come out of it!
and yes, sometimes i feel like i have waaaay too many photos of myself.
Part of the reason I started the blog was so that I would have a reason to be taking photos everyday, and for a while, I made a point of photographing things other than myself as well – but it’s definitely become the all lydia all the time show now.
I forced myself to take some photos of the sunset yesterday, even though they feel just as uncreative as photographing myself or chloe…

Yeah, I almost feel weighed down by my SLR some days. Plus an SLR can be so conspicuous out in the world. I rarely take it out with me at night unless I’m going to an apartment party. I’m trying to get more into iPhoneography, but I guess I need a better iPhone for that because mine continually frustrates me. I’m thinking of asking for an Instax Mini for Christmas. But the film costs– ugh. Although I guess I can’t complain, the 440 film will be far worse, haha.

HAHA That’s neat Alex! I once read from a photographer, that one type of camera just won’t do if you’re a REAL photographer. Hope you get it to work! :D I don’t get tired of seeing your face. Hope you’re having a great Monday!

Hahaha, thanks Kim. I really like personal style blogging, but sometimes I just think… I have too many photos of myself, all I see is me!
