I Climbed a Mountain and I Turned Around

Sorrento Sunset

Oh, hey. New year, new name and all that. Or so I figure.

If you’ve ever met me in person, you know that I’ve never liked the name of my blog. I tried about 100 domain names (it felt like that, okay?) and I couldn’t get any of the ones I wanted. So my blog name was about the 100th runner up on the list.

However, this was back in the bad old days when the domains available were just .com and .net. These days, we have options. Which is why I’m now blogging at lettersfromthe.city.

I’ve been toying with a name change more seriously for about a year, and last weekend I figured what the heck? Take the plunge. This weekend I took some time to get set up, although there are still a few more things to do. I’m moving back to Disqus (!) and want to mess with my RSS feeds a bit.

I hope you’ll stick around with me on this new journey.

P.S. Don’t know what the title references? Have three minutes? Listen to Stevie Nicks singing “Landslide”.

I was interrupted from my last comment. But the words of the song pooped into my head and that reminded me to come back to you. Love your title to this post and the photo . Good symbols for your new site, and one of my favorite all time songs..

I LOVE the new name, and the new design. When you move to Disqus make sure to configure so that readers can comment as guest or a lot of people will not leave comments as it wants to use your social media logins.
