On Tuesday evening I jumped on a train from DUMBO and dashed off to a preview of Ippolita‘s Fall 2012 collection. I don’t always show it here on the blog, but I wear Ippolita pieces quite a lot, especially my Lollipop Station Bangle and topaz hoops. I prefer my Ippolita pieces to almost all my other fine jewelry (exception: family heirlooms).
Fall 2012 is not available online yet, but expect it in major department stores in two weeks. There are quite a lot of photos in this post, so if you’re on a mobile device I’d skip unless you’re on Wifi.
Wicked, my favorite collection. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. The dark rhodium is so eye-catching. Last year this collection was done with blue topaz and this year it looks like it’s smoky topaz.
You see my ring and bracelet a lot, could you see me with some coordinating pieces to style?
The big hoops were a lot larger than I expected. I think I prefer the smaller size of my topaz #3 Hoops, which are my absolute favorite earrings ever.
It looks like more brands are picking up mixed media for fall! I love the dark chains– I expected this combination to be flipped.
I spy some labradorite! I’ve seen the Lollipop Station Bangle in labradorite before (currently available at Bergdorf Goodman).
I absolutely loved this necklace…
Surprise! It’s reversible.
Everyone representing Ippolita was so very nice, willing to answer all questions and even take photos– they were definitely prepared for bloggers!

Gorgeous pieces. I’ve always been a fan of the bangles, glad to see the full line.

Ooh! Most of that jewelry isn’t really my style, but I do really like the melty-looking gold ring. Sweet!
